A members-only twilight celebration marking 50 years of the Berrima District Museum.
Before the present museum had a home, the Society displayed its collection in rooms at Courthope and later in Jellore Street. A cottage donated by Mr and Mrs Lansley of Moss Vale arrived in Berrima in December 1975. Volunteers prepared it for its public opening in December 1976. The museum has grown since then, but the purpose remains: to share the district’s stories and care for the objects that carry them.
