Volunteer with the Society
Our volunteers help care for photographs, records and objects, welcome visitors and make local history easier to discover. Whether you enjoy meeting people, working with collections or researching a story, there may be a way to contribute.
Ways to get involved
Over the years, Society volunteers have helped in the archives and at Berrima District Museum. Work has included cataloguing and caring for collections, digitising records, assisting with research enquiries, welcoming visitors and preparing exhibitions. Some roles are behind the scenes; others bring you into contact with visitors and researchers.[2][3]
Tell us about your interests, skills and the time you have available. Opportunities and any training or membership requirements can change, so the Society can discuss what is currently needed and how you might help.
