A kiln on show
What went on inside the gates of the cement works? In 1965 the apprentices helped answer that question with a model of No. 5 kiln, built over several months and displayed at the Berrima District Show in Moss Vale. Visitors asked questions of the apprentices on duty; the model later appeared at the Bowral High School fete.
