An award finally presented
At the 2025 launch of the digitised company newsletters, project leader Ian Mackey presented George Turczynski with a 1970 Apprentice of the Year award that had survived among papers rescued by Leonie and Greg Knapman. The gathering became a reunion for former cement works employees as well as a celebration of the records they helped preserve.
