A works in transition
In 1978 the company newsletter looked back to the first two kilns at Berrima and described the construction of a new dry-process plant. The old works had grown in stages since the first cement was produced in 1929. A visit by journalists offered a glimpse of the scale of the project and the people guiding it.

Life beyond the kiln
There was time for celebration too: the newsletter captured a tug-of-war final won by the machine shop, alongside photographs from a dinner dance at Moss Vale Services Club.
