The gardener behind the monthly notes
For 23 years Isabel Crowe of Berrima Bridge Nurseries supplied gardening notes to the company newsletter. In 1983 the editors celebrated her remarkable contribution and recalled how she and her husband Claude built their nursery after clearing a site overgrown with blackberries. Her advice connected the newsletter’s readers with the gardens and seasons of the Southern Highlands.
